Antonio Torregrosa

Antonio Torregrosa is Managing Director at Valenciaport Foundation, the research, innovation, training and international cooperation center of the port of Valencia. He is responsible of initiatives such as the Valenciaport Innovation Committee, promoting innovation in the port cluster, and the EIT Climate KIC #SuperLabPorts, international initiative to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in climate change in ports.

He previously worked as Projects Director at the research Institute of International Economics (Universities of Valencia, Alicante and Castellón), where he coordinated R&D projects in the various fields related to economics, transport and logistics.
 As Projects Director at the Valenciaport Foundation Torregrosa was in charge of promoting and coordinating the Foundation’s various areas of research whilst developing projects on supply chain organization, logistics and business competitiveness, international shipping corridors and intermodality.

Antonio has also collaborated with local and national administrations as an expert in defining priority lines of R&D in previous Spanish R&D Plans and Valencian Science and Technology Plans.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, a Masters in International Trade Management and a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Business Management.
