Rob McKenzie

After a degree course in Aeronautical engineering, Rob McKenzie went on to post-graduate studies in broadcast journalism. He then embarked on a distinguished career working for one of the largest commercial stations in the world. After years in front of the microphone, Rob moved to television production, as one of the team that launched the BBC’s highly successful Breakfast News programme. This led to him being chosen to be part of introducing videojournalism to the UK with a ground-breaking TV channel for London run by Associated Newspapers. A series of editorial positions with leading news providers such as Channel 5 and CNBC then followed. In 2006, Rob was approached by the fledgeling Russia Today to become an editor and mentor to young journalists. His time now focuses on style and script consulting for RT and other clients in broadcasting and the internet.
