Maneet Ahuja recently joined Forbes as Senior Editor after completing the highly competitive Knight-Bagehot fellowship in Economics & Business Journalism at Columbia Journalism School.  During her fellowship year, Ahuja began working on In Defense of Tech, which was shortlisted for the FT/McKinsey Bracken Bower Prize for one of the best business book proposals of the year.  She also hosted Spotify’s Megatrends podcast, which was nominated for Best Branded Podcast by Digiday.

Prior to being awarded the Knight-Bagehot fellowship, Ahuja spent the past decade at CNBC working in a variety of capacities, most recently as Senior Editor and Founder of Delivering Alpha, the network's marquee annual investor summit, bringing in over $2 trillion in assets together with leading investors, thought leaders and policymakers worldwide.

In 2012, she launched CNBC's coverage of startups and Silicon Valley with the network's Disruptors series, leading to the formation of the CNBC Disruptors 50 Index. In 2015, she was selected to lead NBC Universal's executive leadership program, DRIVE, for NBC President & CEO Steve Burke to help fuel innovation across the organization, leading her to liaise as an advisor with Comcast Ventures on new media investments.

Previously, as CNBC's Hedge Fund Specialist and a Producer on “Squawk Box,” she covered high-profile stories such as Lehman Brothers' insolvency during the financial crisis and investigated claims of Herbalife as a pyramid scheme. She launched coverage of the secretive hedge fund industry for the network in 2008. Prior to joining CNBC, she was a part of the Wall Street Journal's Money & Investing team.
