Martina Bojanska is the Director of Sales & Marketing in Metropolitan Hotel Sofia for the last 11 years. Her professional path starts from Golden Tulip Hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she lays the foundations of her knowledge and expertise in the hospitality industry and graduates with honors from the Swiss Hotel Management School, part of the Swiss Education Group. Her love for hotels remains, but her passion for innovation provokes the various projects in which she is involved. She has a Master’s Degree of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Finance and gladly accepts to be a mentor in ‘The Business Innovation Challenge’ and a jury in the ‘Innovation in Action’ competition.
Martina is one of the first employees of Wizz Air in Bulgaria – she is responsible for the company’s market penetration. Her devotion to Metropolitan Hotel Sofia begins in the year 2008, one month after the official opening of the hotel. Her aim is to create a preference for the hotel in a highly competitive environment. As the head of the Sales & Marketing Department, she is responsible for the hotel’s revenue, the brand’s image and the future development of the business, thus she needs to be always up to date with global and local trends.
Dedicated to personal and professional growth, Martina is one of the few selected participants in the first class of the ‘Leadership Academy’ – a program of the Council of Women in Business and the 7-module program for Digital Marketing of the Software University.
In the last four years she has been personally involved with the project Bulgarian Convention Bureau and she is confident that this structure will promote Bulgaria as a destination for MICE tourism and will help unite the tourism business in the country.
