Sein-Way Tan is well renowned in the fields of sustainable cities, innovation and future trends. He is the founder of Green World City, a consortium with global mission to make cities and large-scale projects more environmentally, socially and economically sustainable. He has been invited to meet many world leaders (Heads of State) and engaged with hundreds of influential political and business leaders worldwide.

He is an Australian business leader that have been invited to APEC Summit, Forbes Global CEO and many major international summits. He has also been invited by the Australian Government to do reports on Property Development, the Chinese Government to the Great Hall of the People and by major forums to advise on sustainable cities and future trends.

In addition to speaking on TV and radio globally, he has been invited to speak at the Nobel Peace Prize City Hall in Oslo, selected by leading experts and peers to be honoured as a World Cities Summit Leader and awarded by University of Newcastle for International Leadership.

He has lived and studied in Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and Japan. This experience has given him a wide understanding of many cultures. He interest includes business, geopolitics, current affairs, history, languages, environment, innovation and evolving global trends.

He has also advised major corporations and CEO forums in Asia, Europe and North America on business opportunities in investing in large-scale sustainable projects and sustainable cities.

He is on the Advisory Board of Global Urban Development, Sustainia and Data Cities. He is an Advisor to many Governments, including the Chinese Government on creating green cities and is also on the Steering Committee of the UN-Habitat (United Nations) World Urban Campaign.
