Irena Battelino

Irena is the Head of Content Acquisition and Media Marketing Services at Telekom Slovenije. 

She manages the content acquisition and media marketing services procurement team and services, as well as the complete content life cycle, negotiation strategies, and new business models for the Telekom Slovenije TV/OTT portfolio. 

Irena started her career in Telekom Slovenije back in 2005 as Development Engineer, when she was involved in new product and service development, with special focus on the IP telephony and emerging telemedicine services. In 2009 she became Key Account Manager, responsible for sales, negotiations, and purchasing of voice, data, IP, VoIP and roaming services on a group level in strategic cooperation with other international carriers and service providers. Between 2011 and 2017 she was appointed as Content Acquisition Manager, which led to her current role.
