Scot has 23 years of marketing, advertising and design experience, leading brands and agencies in both Toronto and Vancouver. In 2007, Scot led Toronto’s Lowe Roche to win Canada’s “Agency of the Year”. The following year he helped launch start-up Zulu Alpha Kilo, leading the successful re-launch of the Bell brand across Canada. Scot started Kommunity in 2010 and launched the highly successful 123w idea and design collective in April 2013.

In 2014, 123w (One Twenty Three West) was named one of Canada’s Top 10 Agencies of the Year by Marketing Magazine. This is an incredible honour for the company, especially considering that there are hundreds of advertising, design, media, PR, experiential, digital and social media shops across the country.

Scot’s focus at 123w is on leading clients in brand strategy, creative, design, digital, brand activations, social media, and media planning.

Current client roster at 123w includes 7-Eleven, Kal Tire, Mercedes-Benz Vancouver, Muskoka Brewery, Cara Restaurants (Swiss Chalet and Montana’s), Stong’s Market, PepsiCo, Vancouver Canucks.
Some of Scot’s previous clients include Bell Canada, Rogers, Audi, Subaru, BCAA, ICBC, Canadian Pacific, Electronic Arts, Arc’teryx, Hockey Canada, Nestle, Stella Artois and Kokanee/Labatt.

Was the creator of Hockey Canada’s “Relax, it’s just a game” campaign, one of the most-awarded and iconic campaigns in Canadian advertising history. The campaign was also featured on Oprah.

Winner of 450+ creativity, effectiveness, and media awards, and in 2006 was listed as one of Strategy Magazine’s “Next Generation Marketing Icons”.

Was recently a finalist for the Ontario Premier Award for outstanding college alumni in the Creative Arts & Media. Lost out to a very talented person who had won an Oscar.
