Chairman & CEO of Publicis Groupe
Maurice Lévy is the Chairman & CEO of Publicis Groupe, the world’s third largest communications group and the admired force in business transformation driven through the alchemy of creativity and technology. He joined Publicis in 1971 as Director of IT, and was appointed CEO of Publicis Groupe in 1987. All throughout his career, Maurice Lévy has driven Publicis Groupe through various important strategic phases, including the Groupe’s international expansion, its pioneering focus on digital as early as 2006 and its transformation into the world of technology and consulting with the acquisition of Sapient in early 2015. In 2016, to celebrate Publicis Groupe’s 90th anniversary, Maurice Lévy was determined to look to the future rather than the past, keeping in line with Publicis’ pioneering spirit. Mr. Lévy also co–founded the French Institute for Brain and Spinal Cord disorders (ICM) in 2005, and serves as the Chairman of the board for several entities, including the International Board of Governors for the Peres Center for Peace and the Pasteur–Weizmann Institute.
