Raúl Martín




Raúl Martín has a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a PDG from IESE. He is currently the Director of KM ZERO, the food innovation and investment hub of Grupo Martínez. Raúl was Founder and President of the Valencian Association of Startups (Startup Valencia) until January 2019, and his professional career has always been linked to the direction of business projects focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.

During his extensive career, which includes leading roles in the private and public sectors, he has been the General Director of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Generalitat Valenciana and responsible for the winning candidacy of the Valencian Region for the 2015 European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) Award. 

In the past, Raúl led the Telefónica OpenFuture ScaleUp Program, developed by Barrabés Group, the Government of Finland and Telefónica.

Along with his position as the Director of KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub, he is the Senior Business Advisor for the Educational Innovation Initiative (EDT) and acts as mentor for startups and spin-offs, and is a lead member of the European entrepreneurial ecosystem. Raúl collaborates actively with universities, accelerators and others institutions as a professor.
