Webit AppsWorld and MasterClasses gathered the masters of app development
Webit once again underlined the importance of online production and gathered the developer community from the EMEA region with major platform providers.
At the DevCamp Workshop, PayPal, which boasts one of the leading developer communities in the world, discussed with developers and startups how to provide flexible payment solutions for mobile, web and digital goods. One of the most outstanding parts of the workshop was the build of a prototype App with Apple’s Xcode tools, showing how much can be initially done without writing any code.
“In every digital experience we do for people, it is incredibly important to simplify and humanise. To do so, look around” advised Seth Weisfeld, Creative Director at Huge to developers. “You cannot find the solution by sitting in front of the computer every time, ideas also come up offline - talk to people, go around, travel” he added.
During the day and a half workshops, developers discussed the opportunities offered by the iOS and Android platforms, how to implement smart business strategies to create a successful app, which reaches millions of downloads and how digital design can be inspired from the real world.
