For the past few years Turkey is working hard to implement and grow the digital industry in all governmental and non-governmental sectors and the results are more than amazing. Today Turkey is years ahead of many of its European neighbors when it comes to the adoption of digital technologies. The Turkish government has converted a wide number of its services into electronic formats to cater for the increased demand for web-based services from its increasingly web-literate population.
"There is no better place than Turkey and the vibrant city of Istanbul to gather the whole digital industry value chain at one place", said Plamen Russev, Chairman of Webit Congress. "As one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, Turkey has become a major digital economy hub and a bridge between established markets and the exciting new possibilities the emerging EMEA markets have in store.", Russev added.
For the last three years Webit Congress has established itself as one of Europe's premier digital marketing and IT industry events, attracting over 5000 people from 45 countries. The confrence and trade expo have been widely acknowledged as a meeting platform for the industry players from the region and the rest of the world.
For its first Istanbul edition, Webit Congress will welcome more than 6000 delegates form around the globe, incorporating ten separate events and an expo.
