Ozan Sonmez

Ozan Sonmez is a Partner in Molten Ventures focusing on Central and Eastern Europe. Molten Ventures CEE fund invests in early growth stage companies particularly in enterprise SaaS and digital marketplace verticals.

Before joining Molten, Ozan has worked at Goldman Sachs Asset Management Alternatives in Istanbul and London, leading growth equity and structured equity deals in EMEA. Before GS, he worked at Turkven Private Equity and McKinsey & Company. Ozan’s investing experience includes e-commerce & digital market places, mobility, fintech, online travel and telecom infrastructure in the tech/telco space, and F&B, healthcare, energy infrastructure, FIs and apparel retail in non-tech sectors.

Ozan holds MBA degree from Harvard Business School (‘13), and BA degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Bogazici University, Istanbul (‘08).
