Vivien is an award-winning researcher for Harvard University and NASA. She and her team uses NASA’s satellite images to better understand the Earth’s oceans and lakes and their impact on the environment and climate change. She uses the latest hardware technology (NASA's recently released satellite) and the latest software technology (computer vision and machine learning). Her research won a Harvard University award, is about to be published in 2 scientific journals, and was presented at the United Nations "AI for Good" conference, at NASA seminars, to Princess Beatrice of the UK, and will be soon presented at a TEDx event. Vivien is a data scientist and business strategist by training: she has a master's in data science from Harvard and an MBA from Wharton. She has previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey, as a strategist for Google, and as a global venture developer for Rocket Internet. In her free time she likes sports, she holds a Guinness World Record in long-distance cycling.
