Elliott is the founder and CEO of AKTEK, a tech company based in Barcelona that helps clients make sense of complex operating contexts with powerful information software and data science so they can better understand and mitigate their operational risks and achieve greater impact despite the odds. Elliott is an award-winning social entrepreneur (Google Zeitgeist Young Mind on Innovation, University of Cambridge Young Entrepreneur of the Year). He has nearly ten years of experience in sustainable development and security across Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA and Eastern Europe. AKTEK software and data science is used in 20 countries by UN agencies, EU bodies, foreign embassies, international aid agencies, national ministries of interior and defence, as well as extractive, infrastructure, agribusiness and insurance companies.
