Jan Pommer

Jan Pommer is Director Team and Federation Relations at ESL. He is responsible to liase with all Sportclubs, leagues and federations as well as with stakeholders in sports politics. Jan has nearly 20 years experience in the sports industry. A trained lawyer with a specialisation in Sports law he started his career working for a BBDO-network agency, Sponsor Partners, in sponsorship, PR and Events. From 2005 to 20015 he was Commissioner of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). During this time he was member of the Board of Euroleague Basketball. He was awarded „Sports Manager of the year“ in 2010 by German Marketing magazin „Horizont“. Before joining ESL and Turtle Entertainment in 2017 he was Managing Director of DSM Ltd., the marketing agency of DOSB, the German National Olympic Committee. He is also Vicepresident of ESBD, the German esport federation.
