Ömer Saka, MD is Partner Healthcare Economics at Deloitte. Ömer is a qualified medical doctor who is an expert on public health, health economics, policy and management, working in the field of health economics and outcomes research for over 10 years. He has MSc in Health policy planning and financing from the London School of Economics (LSE). Ömer led and published significant economic modelling studies and worked closely with the Department of Health and the UK academic organizations. He carried out a number of research projects on health technology assessment practice. His research interests extend to use of modeling methods in economics evaluation, cost of illness and budget impact modeling, comparative health policy analysis, and improving efficient provision of services in hospitals (using process modelling methods to optimize service provision).
