Bart Becks is the Founder & CEO of crowdfunding ecosystem angel.me, and the Vice-President of the European Crowdfunding Network. Additionally, he’s the Executive Chairman of EURACTIV, the European policy media group. He is also the Founding partner of VentureWise, a media & technology early stage investment fund. 

Previously, Bart was CEO of Belgacom Skynet (Belgium largest internet group), and Senior Vice-President of SBS Europe, acquired by ProSiebenSat1. Also, he was the chairman of iMinds (now IMEC), recently recognized one of the most research and incubation centers in Europe. He’s also an angel investor in a series of media and tech startups.
