Webit Speaker, CTO, Director of Technology, Europe, Nokia Networks

Mr. Mika Uusitalo is CTO for Europe at Nokia. He is working closely with leading service providers on strategy, business and technology topics as well as ensures that Nokia product and solution portfolio meets customers' requirements. In Nokia Mika has been working in multiple executive positions such as CTO Core Networks and global head of Business development & Innovations.

Mika has over 20 years’ professional experience in Internet, IT, mobile- and data communication. Previously Mika was General Manager & Vice President at Tahoe Networks; an Silicon Valley start-up company acquired by Nokia. Before Tahoe he worked at Sonera Finland in multiple positions as the CTO, VP and Head of Mobile & Internet Technologies unit as well as Head of Medialab. Earlier Mika was Chief Architect at Qwest Advanced Technologies in USA as well as Senior Research Scientist at Tampere University of Technology Finland.
