Prior to founding Sedicii in 2013 and co-founding Global Business Register in 2007, Rob lived in Japan for nearly twenty years having held senior management / director level positions with Datacraft Japan, PTS Ltd. eSafe Japan and Dell Japan where he was part of the initial management team that launched Dell into the Japanese market. While he was with Dell the company grew from zero to over 270 employees and annual sales of over $300 million. After leaving Dell, Rob became a partner in PTS, a niche technology services company servicing foreign multi-nationals in Tokyo. The company was acquired in 2000 by Datacraft Asia as part of their entry strategy into the Japanese market for a significant sum. Rob is the founder of Sedicii which allows the authentication of individuals, using a novel technology called zero knowledge proof, where identity can be proven without exposing privacy. Rob is also a co-founder of Global Business Register which specializes in identity and compliance solutions for companies. He is a mentor with Enterprise Ireland (E.I.) providing advice to E.I.’s high potential start-up companies and am an active investor in various startup companies in the technology and biotech spaces.
