Before joining Electro Power Systems (EPS) as CEO to boost the Energy Storage business, Carlalberto has been an entrepreneur focused mainly in the Hi-Tech, Energy and Digital sectors, with a strong expertise in start-up, growing-stage companies and turnarounds.

In less than 2 years from his appointment, he has entirely restructured the business model of EPS and brought the company to the listing on the regulated market.

He has been an Operating Partner with 360 Capital Partners, one of the major Italian investment funds, co-founder of two startups (Blackshape and Restopolis, nowTheFork.it) and held board positions in various companies including Eataly and Musement.

He holds an MBA from the Bocconi School of Management (Milan, 2012), with merit in Financial Risk Management, and graduated with a JD cum laude and worthy of publication from the University of Turin, and a JD with merit from Université René Descartes (Paris, 2005). He specialized at the University of Haifa (Israel, 2005), and European School of Economics (New York, 2007).

During his free time he is a portrait photographer, passionate about skiing and running. But he always says: “my main passion is my family, which I co-founded with my wife Claudia, with a recent addition to the team in February 2015: Tommaso!”.
