Prof. Roumen Nikolov works in the area of e-Learning, e-Government, e-Commerce, e-Work, Multimedia and Hypermedia Systems, Management Information Systems. He has been involved in more than 40 projects from
4FP, 5FP, FP6 and FP7, such as SISTER, GUIDE, Kaleidoscope, GEM Europe, Proteleuses, IWOP, BIGEAR, etc, including at a management and coordination level. For instance Dr. Nikolov is member of the Executive Board of the FP6 NoE Kaleidoscope. He is also initiator and coordinator of the Sofia European Day of the Entrepreneur, elected Chair of the Bulgarian Telework Association, Bulgarian representative at TC3 of IFIP, etc. Prof. Nikolov has more than 100 research papers and presentations and has specialised in UK, the Netherlands, and other EU countries.
