Valentina Venkova is heading the Digital Market Intelligence department at GfK Russia. In this capacity she is responsible for the successful development of GfK DMI business on local ground across the various sectors in which GfK operates – FMCG, Automotive, Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Retail and Media. More specifically, Valentina’s efforts are focused on identifying existing information needs of brands and retailers related to evolving digital market trends, and supporting them in deriving more research value based on the application of innovative digital research technologies & know-how available at GfK.

Along with her current responsibilities in Russia, Valentina has recently joined the global DMI team at GfK which is dedicated to the development of new digital market intelligence solutions, such as cross-media and mobile ad campaigns measurement.

Valentina has over 13 years of international research & consultancy experience, mostly in Telecom and Consumer Electronics/Home Appliances industries. She has lead the Marketing Research & Analysis function at Telenor Bulgaria (previously Globul, subsidiary of Cosmote Greece) for 5 years, and provided consultancy services for a Fortune 500 company. Within the last 3 years Valentina has been dedicated to her new Digital Market Intelligence roles, and she is keen on working in the highly dynamic technology market.
