Dr. Stylianos Mamagkakis is Manager for Strategic Business Development at Samsung Semiconductor Europe, responsible for strategic engagements in the Memory, Foundry, System LSI, Display and LED areas. He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. in hardware/software co-design and embedded systems and an executive MBA in innovation and business models. In the past, he has worked for a decade for the R&D institute IMEC in Belgium in R&D management and business development positions, focusing on semiconductors and their various applications and for a couple of years managing a business unit for engineering and strategy consulting in Germany. At Samsung Semiconductor, he now concentrates on networking, market sensing, building relationships with key partners, enablers and other ecosystem players, as well as, evangelizing Samsung Semiconductor products in various industry events and forums. His key areas of interest include Cloud Computing, Automotive, IoT, Wearable Technologies and other Embedded Systems.
