In his role with Boehringer- Ingelheim Aleksander is responsible for Media Strategy, Planning, Buying and media capability building in 32 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States for all the brands.
One of his major tasks is shaping the approach in the context of a dynamically changing landscape and driving the media agenda through a network of agencies, media partners and key stakeholders. Alekse’s professional focus is on driving Media Effectiveness which covers the Innovation, Cost Management and Return on Media Investment.
He is an MBA graduate and a non-traditional thinker.
Before joining Boehringer- Ingelheim Aleks has been with Unilever for almost seven years. At the time there he was overseeing 20 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Greece and Cyprus. During his tenure Aleksander had numerous achievements ranging from driving the digital and content agenda to shepherding the business through two comprehensive agency reviews yielding enormous media value for CEE markets. Many awards and acclaims were granted to Unilever in the region for projects he was directly involved in.
Before joining Unilever he worked for 7 years in OMD, last 3 of which he was Managing Director of Optimum Media OMD. In his previous role, among other responsibilities, he was involved in driving innovation for Sony, Era/T-Mobile, McDonald’s, Henkel, Nissan and more.
Aleks is also actively involved in the Industry, he is Vice President of International Advertising Association Polish Chapter. He has extensive experience in bringing to life new initiatives, media innovation, driving media effectiveness and return on investment measurement.
