Alex Marks

Alex’s current role at eBay sees him responsible for the B2B marketing of eBay’s advertising business across EMEA and International Markets.

Alex has over 14 years agency and client side experience across a broad range of clients and sectors, including telecommunications, broadcast and tourism.

Prior to joining eBay, Alex worked at Microsoft, where he was the Head of UK Marketing for its advertising business. His other digital experience includes media agency i-level, where he was Marketing & New Business Director. He has also worked in offline roles for Capital Radio, Classic FM and media agency Zenith Optimedia.

He is also a regular commentator, writer and conference speaker on a wide variety of digital marketing issues

His interests include music, running and boxing, all of which he regularly still indulges despite his recent realisation that he might be getting a bit old for all this.
