Deepak Bhandari

Deepak heads the European operations of Avendus – a global mid-market focussed Investment Bank. He is a TMT specialist with over 20 years of experience in the global financial services industry and possesses a combination of financial, strategic and transaction advisory experience having successfully originated and executed M&A transactions within the TMT sectors across Western Europe, CEE, Africa and Asia.

He has spent the better part of his career as an Investment Banker - first as a Generalist at UBS (London) focused on M&A executions across industries (predominantly Telecoms), and subsequently as the Head of TMT coverage for Barclays (India). Prior to joining Avendus, Deepak was an Advisor to the Group CEO of Axiata Group Bhd. (Malaysia).

Deepak holds an MBA from London Business School and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary from India.
